The Cave Bear was the largest bear ever only slightly smaller than the Short Faced Bear, with 11.5 feet (3.5 metres) tall when standing. It fed on grass, honey and sometimes meat.
One Cave Bear is seen in the second episode of Prehistoric Park (A Mammoth Undertaking), in wich the bear chases Nigel because he disturbed it while it was hibernating.
